Wow... has it really been THIS long? Crazy. I guess this summer is just passing me by. I did finally sit down last night and work on updating the look of my site. Just needed something cleaner, easier on the eyes... and well, this is it.
Hope everyone has been having a great summer. Ours could have been better. Many that read my blog are already on at least one of my yahoogroups... but for those that aren't, the short version is the following. Basically, domestic abuse, financial burden brought on by my overspending... but it will all work out in the end. We are having a bit of a tough go as a couple, and even as a family because we cannot forget that the kids deal with this also. It will get better. Both John and I are seeing counselors separately and I know that it will be a long hard road and not something that will fix itself anytime soon. So we just keep trekking on, right?
My kids are doing great. Benjamin turned four years old in June. Here is my punkin...
Hannah is doing great too. She had her summer reading program. It lasted 12 days and she is now able to read some books. The teacher was fantastic (and that helps a lot!). The one on one time really helped her to focus and the lightbulb finally clicked for her :) We also took her to get her hair cut. Here is a pic (not the best, but it's what I have!)
Speaking of pictures... I'm a bit miffed because my pictures look pixelated whenever I resize them. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I use paint shop pro and have for years... never had a problem until about a month ago. It's very frustrating!
Well, off I go to get some laundry done. Dh is not living with us until mid to late August so it's just me and the kiddos. They are finishing up lunch and I have dishes to do. Till I blog again...
