Well I think I've fixed it to how I like it now. LOL... but then again, if you know me, I'm never finished with anything!
Yesterday was a great day. My MIL and I went shopping and the boys took the kids to the desert. That was the first time in MONTHS that I've been away from my kiddos. I almost didn't know what to do with myself, LOL. We went to Bearly Stitchin and I saw two awesome quilts that I wanted. Mom ended up buying one of them so I know we'll eventually see that hanging in my kids' room! It's a dragon one. I'll have to take a pic or find one online to show you. It's sooo awesome. Then I saw another kit called "ghoul friends" using Moda fabric. Here it is:

Not the best pic but it's pretty cool looking. I didn't buy it though. They wanted too too much!
Afterwards, we headed on over to the city of Montrose where we hit QuiltnThings, The Paper Rabbit, a yarn store, and a couple of bookstores. Plus we stopped and had Quiznos for lunch. As usual, Mom bought all kinds of goodies... I was very well behaved though! I did break down at the Paper Rabbit and bought this:

Like I can NOT buy tinkerbell stuff!!!
A few other goodies... I'm a sucker for princess stuff since I have one growing up here :)
And the above was on clearance. Raggedy Ann was only 50 cents a piece and the blue's clues was 10 cents. Yippee!
Today we headed to church. Kind of an overcast dreary day. Church was good. I enjoy our Pastor. We had the Orange Chicken for lunch. Yum yum yummy. I had chop suey, thai chicken, pineapple chicken, chow mein, and rice. Then I finished working a little in my craft room. Bought two more carts from Costco a couple weeks ago. Moved the desk out of the craft room and into the master bedroom. Now that section looks like this:
I'm pretty pleased with it. I think it's coming together rather well and it's also getting organized. Now to just get myself back in there and actually SCRAPPING! Well, going to see what all is going on... talk more later. |
